ENLESCE COLLECTIVE Open Group Ride
Recap from Our First ENLESCE COLLECTIVE Sunday Group Ride in Vancouver
On Sunday, May 25, we kicked off a new tradition, the first ENLESCE COLLECTIVE Sunday Open Group Ride in Vancouver.
Ten riders showed up, the sun was out, and the energy was exactly what we hoped for: relaxed, social, and just a little bit spicy in all the right places. This wasn’t our first group ride, but it was the beginning of something new, a Sunday series designed to bring riders together for open, inclusive, community-led rides.
The Route
We rolled out from 1500 Hornby in downtown Vancouver, cruised south to Richmond, and stopped for a mid-ride espresso at Sanctuary Cafe, a crowd favorite. From there, we looped back along the Fraser River, then hit SW Marine Drive toward UBC, where we opened it up for a little racing fun.
It’s always nice to keep things conversational but give riders the chance to push themselves too. The mix of pacing made for a ride that welcomed everyone, whether you were out to chat, chase, or just enjoy the view.
We finished along the coast, descending past Spanish Banks and rolling into Kits Beach, where the ride officially ended but the hangout had just begun.
The Best Finish Line
Cold drinks, warm sun, and great people - that was the vibe at Kits Beach. We wrapped up with post-ride refreshments from two of our favorite local brands:
🍻 Nonny Beer (non-alcoholic and delicious)
🥤 Say It Ain’t Soda (for that post-ride kick)
Conversations were flowing, new connections were made, and the feedback was amazing. Whether it was your first group ride or one of many, it was a reminder of why we started this.
Just the Beginning
Huge thank you to everyone who came out, and to our local partners who helped make it feel special. This was the first of our Sunday rides, but definitely not the last. We’re building something here in Vancouver, and we’re stoked to have you along for the ride.
