ENLESCE x Rivian Social Group Ride
Some rides just stand out, and this one might have been the group ride of the year.
On August 17, more than 65 riders showed up for our biggest ENLESCE Social Ride yet. Hosted in collaboration with Rivian and supported by Blonyx, this event truly captured what the Vancouver cycling community is all about — resilience, connection, and shared passion.
The weekend forecast was looking rough, and the rain forced us to push back our start time. But the community showed up anyway, and was rewarded with sunshine, dry roads, and perfect post-storm air. From Downtown Vancouver → Steveston → and back, the 90 km route was a full-day adventure filled with laughter, grit, and good energy.
To make the experience even better, Blonyx fueled the ride with hydration and gels, while Rivian hosted us at their beautiful space and offered an epic giveaway, a Rivian truck for an overnight adventure. The vibes were unmatched.
We organized three pace groups - Fast, Medium, and Conversational - to make sure everyone could find their rhythm and enjoy the ride their way. From strong pulls at the front to post-ride chats in the lot, it was a day that reminded us how powerful this community has become in such a short time.
This wasn’t just another ride, it was a moment that brought together friends, new faces, and a shared belief in what we’re building with ENLESCE. A true highlight of the year.
